The Couture and Jones contracts are nightmares, the sabres would be better for a year and crippled for the next 5.

idk enough about larsson to make a call on that deal but subtracting risto is a win for the Sabres

Rather keep McCabe, you can find players like wood in free agency every year.

Sharks as a team had a bad year, its not all on Couture. I think he can be an impact player for atleast half of his contract. Don't even get me started on his playoffs success, he is a clutch postseason.
