Severson's fine but that is a fairly disappointing return for Johnny Hockey. Don't see Devils trading for a player who doesn't fit their compete window anyways

Pens trade is horrid and Calgary shouldn't go anywhere near it

Murray at 4 years 6 mil per is horrible....

I meant, Bratt is the best player from the NJD side. And honestly, the gap between Gaudreau and Bratt is not as wide as people think.

Calgary is probably giving up 20-25 points at LW2, but adding RHD1, a first pick this and a second pick next year. And saving $$ in process. Can't imagine why Calgary would decline.

Absolutely. Think 60 points this year is not only possible, but probable, if they play full season and he is healthy.

Look at his stats once Hall left last year...30 GP, 10g, 12a, 22 pts. Once he and Gusev starting meshing...they carried NJD offense in 2nd half.
