I doubt Ottawa or San Jose do those deals, Strome and Deangelo aren't worth that much.

Dude that’s one of the most brutal trades I’ve ever seen in my life. Take Merkley out and Sharks still don’t accept because we can’t afford Strome, and Andersson is a bust.

Out of context, it's a nice offer, but the Blues can't afford this trade. Plus it takes away a looooot of physical, defensive play, and that's our foundation.
