My only problem with the Philly trade is that ideally next year Laughton will be back to playing 4C which makes that line even more dangerous. Not that its hard to find a 4C but its hard to find a guy like Laughton I don't see them moving him for a forward especially a wing.

No way NYR does this trade if they don't resign and elect to trade him it will be for futures or for someone on a smaller contract for the cap space. They don't need kerfoots contract and trading Strome for him is somewhat of a lateral move for them. Maybe Strome and Georgiev and something else for Sandin.

Rangers should instant accept that deal. Fills a hole at LD and helps the Center equation with a comparable middle C with cost certainty that’s way lower than the terrible contract someone is gonna give Strome.
