Honestly if I'm Winnipeg, I move Ehlers.
Laine looks like he could be flirting with Generational goal scoring abilities. You don't trade that

Thats fair but i think they get more for Laine then they do for Ehlers for exactly that reason.

Value is fair but I don't think Winnipeg should be pressed to win just yet.
Most of their core is in the mid 20s. Adding Petry at 32 gives them a window of 3 years to win. I love Petry but every player regresses at some point.

To me the best goal scorers the past 15 years are without a doubt Ovi and Stamkos (only dudes to hit 60 goals in a season in the league right now) and the next gen I see being something between Laine, Matthews, Draisatl and Pastrnak. I don’t think it’d be smart to move him.

Really weak offer for Laine, that's a trade that should get Chevy canned!

Not a fan of the oilers deal. I like Domi, but I don’t want him that bad. There are plenty of other players I would rather get for Nurse, that we may be able to get.

The jets will ask for one of Suzuki, Romanov, KK, Caufield to be in the deal. If they are untouchable then that is where the deal ends. The jets aren’t in a rush to trade Laine.
