It seems that many on another sight say Gaudreau drove the Monahan line so instead of going after Monahan lets go after Johnny Hockey. He signs a 5/7.5M extension before the trade is finalized.

After everything you've done here I'd seriously consider calling Nashville about a Lucic/ Turris swap

Lucic and Okposo are pretty close to a wash. The rest doesnt add up to Gaudreau. He also cant sign qn extension until next year and bo chance Calgary is trading him if its that cheap

Flames easily reject, that’s a horrible gaudreau trade. Flames won’t be moving him unless it’s a massive overpay and that would be Reinhart, 8 OA, cozens, 2022 1st, Jokiharju and Olofsson if it anything worse than that the flames reject. I know buffalo would never do that because it’s a massive overpay but that’s what it will take to get gaudreau

Looks like by what you want you will get nothing for Johnny. he will retire a flame.

I appreciate the opinions from the Flame fans...don't understand why his name comes up here so often and not just with the Sabres
