I think the Avs would rather keep their assets than commit to Prices contract. The only reason they lost to Dallas is because of all the injuries.

That's a pretty steep price (no pun intended) for a 33 year old goalie. Also, how many contracts do they have to renew in the next couple of years?

I agree. I just thought it would be interesting what it would take to get Price. Avs would have to overpay because Montreal probably isn't looking to part ways with Price and it would have to start with Byram imo. This would never happen though nor do I think its in the best interest of the Avs.
