8th overall is kinda nice tho. I think Miller + Kahun and 8th and Nylander and Kerfoot is fair

He, along with several other fringe NHLers, prospects, and a bunch of high end NCAA players is signed to a KHL team. The reality is these guys won't have anywhere to play in north america until at least December... so they go get paid in Europe or Russia and then come back when the NHL starts up... He just went earlier than most that's all

8th overall could be absolute trash. Not much of a backup either since it is the only real piece in The deal.

Ya I can say that Leaf fans hated it. And I didn't love it as a Leaf fan either. I just made a new AGM with what I would prefer or what I would do.... It involves Jokiharju and the 8th overall. Buffalo fans haven't loved it. But I still think the Leafs are overpaying in that AGM.

When I break the trade down, you can throw mitts and the 4th in the garbage. Neither mean much.

Kerfoot and montour cancel each other out. So you have nylander for magic beans. Leafs aren’t rebuilding.

I don’t know why sabres fans would argue that. They are turning Alex and a 1st into Willy.

I think if you look at their track record in drafting you will see why I wouldn’t move nylander for a package that centres around a 1st.
