Trades LMK if your team says no or Yes

Created by: Capitalfail67

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Decided to give Hamonic a chance. if he looks like the 18-19 player this would be a massive gain for the capitals... i think he will get 5+ but maybe he takes a slight hit to play with the capitals and after a down year... if not him Hutton might be an under the radar signing??

i like Protas on the 3lw... his size is great and looks like he's comfortable in front of the net...

Caps basically run 3 1st lines and a 4th line that is hard checking and solid shutdown

responsible puck moving D

hopefully BOBcock isnt the new coach but maybe he makes us better who knows

Yes from me on the Leafs trade. Though if Arizona were willing to do that, I would 100% beat that offer if I were the Leafs.

Buffalo would want more than Eller. Montour is a top 4 D man, lower AAV than Risto, and yes Eller fills the need at center but I dont think thats the caliber they are looking for. Eller would be a good 3rd line center, but not the #2 they are looking for.

sure

just one question what would it take for the leafs to get Orlov. I feel if the capitals do decide to move him Dubas may be in the conversation

i mean Montour is good but i think hes going to be the odd man out. Risto is god awful. Joki isnt moving and Miller isnt good enough to get Eller 1 for 1. he has average offensive numbers and awful defensive numbers. Eller would easily be Buffalos 2c until Cozen is ready.. he actually imo would be a perfect gap filler... Cozen should be ready next year or mid season this year for 2c duties. either way imo Eller helps fill a need Buffalo has... for cheaper than most FA and hes responsible in both ends

So something along the lines of the 15th OA pick + Liligren or would SDA also need to be added

Also how good is he defensively. Is he 2-way, offensive, or defensive cause i dont watch him that often

i think the 15oa would get that done if im being honest....some people might disagree.... so maybe 15oa + liligren for Orlov + 3rd something like that

I would be fine with that Rielly-Orlov could be intriguing.

I can’t see dubas giving up that much for orlov. He would be a great fit on the leafs though. I think one of liljegren or the 15oa.

I think after that it could be balanced with either a mid pick/prospect and a roster player. Dermott or Johnsson. Although I would like to keep both orlov would be a smart addition.

Dubas wouldn’t give up Lilly and the first. Although if they wanted to retain he might.

he said the 15oa pick would also work by itself and honestly if that was the actual cost I would see Dubas heavily considering it. 29 years old, 5.1 mill for 3 years, good at both ends, isnt afraid to hit or fight, and honestly with rielly the 2 could be intriguing together.

Cause i dont see Washington retaining they need cap space.

He would pair well with muzzin. He plays a game much like Rielly just not quite as skilled offensively.

I assume the Canadiens accept: I always liked Orlov and Leason seems to be a decent prospect.

but unlike rielly this guy can hit and block shots. He plays a very similar game to muzzin and even throws out a monsterous hit once in a while and i feel he and Rielly could be a powerhouse duo

yeah that would make more sense for both sides .... liljegren is too good of a prospect to add onto a 15oa. id say the 15oa could get you Orlov

Orlov + 3rd for 15oa and Dermott ? sounds good to me

Hate giving up Dermott but I think that’s fair. He’s just on the cusp of breaking out. Think both teams would be happy with that deal.
