You’re probably right, but it’s just a way to get Dunn which I think is doable and to get rid of ADA and Strome which is a definite possibility

Blues wouldn't take that. Blues would keep Dunn. In that situation it doesn't even scratch the surface of Dunn.

I’m not really saying it would happen like this, just that we could get Dunn with the Blues cap situation, and we could definitely move guys like ADA and Strome, even if its to other teams for picks or whatever

NYR is in no position to talk about other teams cap situations

If you're gonna sign Fast to that deal, send us Kravtsov and the CAR pick for Dunn. Then package ADA, Strome, etc. for Lindholm to see if ANA would bite. Lindholm-Trouba, Dunn-Fox, K'Andre-Lundkvist would be unreal.

Rangers pretty easily decline. Even when you drop Strome....

Disappointing but not surprising that Ranger fans don't know the actual on-ice value of their own players.

never said that lol. but we aren't gonna take depth players that probably don't make our team for Dunn our Top LHD.

i don't think the blues should or will trade him. he is your best LD by default, the blues do not have a top pairing LD. I'm sure you can admit that dunn isn't a top pairing D at this stage of his career.

Top 4 but his statistical stats for offense is so good. it's more than we will get out of Strome a redundant C, and DeAngelo who probably is a bottom pairing guy.

i wouldn't say strome is 'redundant'. at 3.1 mill he was worth every penny. it's the long term contract he is going to be seeking that isn't intriguing to ranger fans.

it wouldn't be intriguing to us because think Thomas Schenn O'Reilly Barbashev is supposed to be the Centers we have and Sundqvist could be a C too. He would be redundant on our team.

The Blues want nothing to do with that, obviously. And in no way, shape or form would DeAngelo be allowed in our clubhouse. He's poison. Poison who often doesn;t care about defending. Hellsno.
