Don't want any of this for CBJ. Shouldn't trade Korpi unless we're getting a top-6 forward back. Hoffman is a known locker-room cancer. Worst of all, you've kept Harrington employed with Columbus, and that's just unforgivable. Trade him for a bag of pucks.

Calgary probably does this. But I hate taking cap without sending some money back.

Habs would have loved to have made that trade before they got J.Allen
It would have filled their 2 biggest needs a back-up who can win games
and
A RW who use to be able to score, but at that cost I would take a chance that he could find his scoring touch again

I’d be thrilled if CBJ could get a 2nd Rd for Murray; but, I’m not sure any team is going to pay that high of a price for a guy who will likely only play 40-50 games. Maybe if the season ends up getting shortened...

I also think you are undervaluing that Joonas/Anderson trade. For Korpi, I’d imagine CBJ are looking for a 1st Rd or equivalent value. As for Andy, I think 2d Rd is their aim for a starting bid...

As for Hoffman, I don’t think CBJ pays that much for him. With the flat cap, their current cap situation, and need for a center, I only think they’ll go after him if they can more or less get him on a bargain.
