Sharks can't afford strome but at least that would be really good value wise for us.

Absolutely not, Strome is a 3rd line player who's value has been ridiculously inflated by playing with possibly MVP Panarin... In reality, he at all top 6 material. He is going to get 5Mil because of arbitration but doesn't deserve anything more than 3.5M. Sharks have no reason to get another inflated contract...

Here is JFresh's sheet on him, who i've been starting to use recently (patreon), which even with him having a good year, puts him at meh.
There isn't a single analytic which would say he is worth 5Mil. which is as big of a red flag as you can get.
