Bruins pass. Don't have enough cap space/need Nash.

I like the idea of Columbus getting Hall. I think that number is a bit high, but I guess that might end up being what it takes.

Where I'm confused is, would you not rather lock Dubois up long-term while you have a bit of a chance? I doubt Hall is getting much more than 8mil AAV. Sign Dubois to 8x8 or more. That guy needs to be locked up.

Ideally it can be whatever team needs forward depth. He showed flashes of being useful in the postseason. Boston probably wasn't the best choice.

In this scenario there is definitely room to lock him up long term. I was basing the contract off Tkachuk's.

Fair, I would agree they are comparable in a 3 year context. Dubois still is a 1C though, usually accounts for something of a raise.

Wait which of those players in the duck trade is worth a 2nd? And which is worth Mahura? Because Wennberg is closer to a cap dump than either of those pieces.

Our 2022 third for Wennberg and Nutivaara is fine.

Welcome to CapFriendly, by the way.

Or the ducks just pass because they don’t need an over paid bottom 6 C when they already have one in Backes.

If youre comparing Backes to Wennberg, you are heavily mistaken. I'm evaluating on current value. Yall need a dman, and can use some help on offence. Wennberg was evoking shades of 2015-2017 in the postseason. His value wasn't what is was in March. He's still overpaid for what I'd currently consider him and would probably retain like 1mil at most.

Oilers decline, it should take JP 1 game to tie Anderson's stats from last year.

Hall is going to be a cap dump in 3 years and he really doesn’t fix anything.... we don’t need a wing!

I like the EDM trade.

I don't think WSH is taking on more LHD than they have, short of a Werenski offer.
