I tend to agree - but when I considered who NYR might be willing to part with it was tough. I wanted Georgiev as part of the deal and a high pick (1st overall is out though, I know). Considered D'Angelo instead of the 3rd but thought that might be to steep in favor of the Flames.

Why do you want Geogiev? He is a back up and there are better options on the market. If there is any grounds to the Kuemper rumours Friedman mentioned then I will 100% take that over Georgiev.

If we were gonna trade Johnny to the Rangers the return would have to be like ADA+Chytil+Kravtsov, Buchnevich isn’t of much interest (we need to add goals) and neither is Georgiev (Rangers think too highly of a guy who has only proven he’s a decent backup)
