Hoppin on the marner playing D train

I'm aware, it's absolutely insane to move marner to 1RD but he logs a ton of minutes on the pk and in other defensive areas and if we paired him with Muzzin who also plays a ton of minutes I truly believe it could work.

You forgot Lehtonen for defence. He just got KHL dman of the year. I think he will be a main stay on d for leafs this year.

I doubt SDA will be playing on the Leafs team this year. But Spezza. Gauthier or Brooks could fill in that number 4 centre spot.

He plays a lot of minutes, including some on the PK so he can handle playing a completely different position then the one he has since he was 3 years old.

Mind me asking why you are always so sour about everything, I clearly don't actually think this is a viable scenario. You gotta relax tortz.
