Krug Signing Rights.

Had a Boston fan tell me that they're gonna get a first rounder for Krugs rights. Seems a little steep. What would you pay for signing rights?

as a boston fan... i wouldnt pay anything for his rights unless i knew i was getting him for the contract i wanted. the MAX that should ever be paid for ufa rights is a 4th.

Hayes got a 5th rounder last year, UFA rights are pretty cheap. Asking for a 1st is ridiculous

Highest I've seen was Jimmy Vesey being trade to Buffalo for a 3rd round pick. There's no way you could get a 1st for rights. Maybe a sign and trade, but nothing else.
