So the Ducks give up their best LD for ADA, Yeah ADA alone isn't getting you Hampus Lindholm.

It would cost the Rangers more so I don't think this should be something they try. If Tony goes to Anaheim, the Rangers should target Lundestrom and a pick (preferably Anaheim's 2021 1st, if not then Boston's pick or Anaheim second). If the Rangers want to target a LD now they should probably look at Dunn instead considering his age and STL cap situation.

Besides Lindholm or Tony D trades I would love to see the Rangers trade Trouba to Anaheim for the Boston pick and a second next year but I highly doubt Trouba gets moved after one year. He would be a nice fit on Anaheim if they moved Manson

Very accurate analysis.

that wouldn’t surprise me, in that case i would stay where we are as the rangers. no sense in overpaying for anyone right now

I think you'll find that each fan base has some really knowledgeable, insightful and reasonably even-handed guys whose opinions you can rely on.* My one caveat to you would be that when posting a team, beware of "first responders" -- on CapFriendly as in life, reflexive (i.e., insufficiently considered) reactions should always be suspect.

* Perfect examples: @TanSor and @MNBassman for the Wild.

anyone specific yet? i’ve thought about finding a way to move deangelo for straight picks or futures (maybe with anaheim) and the flipping to tampa for sergachev rights

definitely, i’ve found that there are pretty much two types of people on here for the most part based on the responses (i think you get what i mean). i’ve been working to learn about each team and their situations before trying to mock up trades and deals so that i actually have a perspective other than as a biased fan.

Rangers need to add a first to this, and thus, it isn’t really a realistic trade.

Yeah, and speaking of your own team, which is a mortal enemy from the old days, you can trust @Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan pretty safely.

One of these things is not like the other....

Screen-Shot-2020-09-16-at-7-21-39-PM

Deangelo has almost quadrupled Lindholm's on ice value over the past 2 seasons. Not sure why people still think it's 2016 lol.

Where did you get that data from? I've been having trouble finding a good source for xWAR data.
