2 things: Detroit isn't trading Mantha and I don't see Yzerman bringing Lucic to Detroit.

Hey why would calgary swap those picks with edmonton. As an oilers fan I like it because we have no picks this year but what's Calgary's incentive?

Pretty sure if Lucic was removed they’d still decline it.

they have no incentive

As part of the Neal trade, the Oilers can choose between their 2020 3rd and 2021 3rd. They'll prolly take the 2020 3rd because the 2020 draft is better

I agree because they aren't trading him.

You aren't getting a 3rd + 4th for Derek Ryan. Montreal doesn't need a 4th line center, not for the price especially

Going to be real hard to pry Farabee or Frost out of Philly. Farabee is a young guy whose first year was on pace for 35 points in limited usage. Frost is the BEST forward prospect they have, is a natural center and is likely going to get his shot next season. They need a high end safety net just incase Patrick doesn't play or is very limited.

Sick and tired of all these trash offers for Mantha, Any deal from Calgary for Mantha at least starts with Noah Hanifin we don't want trash Lucic at any cost. If you can't at least make an whole hearted effort at a decent proposal then don't even post.

Trash offer huh. Two firsts, a third and one of our best prospects. I'm not gonna say it's perfect (& I would suggest an alteration to including Hanafin would absolutely be on the table) but with rationale like that, maybe there is a reason Detroit has been a complete tire fire on and of the ice the last few years...

Thats fine. As I mentioned, it would likely be one or the other, not both. If not, who would you consider including as far as prospects go?

Options that are realistic prospects to move? Ratcliffe who is a big body power forward who is decent at skating but needs time to develop. Rubstov who fell in his draft due to Russia Doping scandal and was a gift projecting to be a nice middle 6, two way center. Allison is a high energy scoring forward kinda in the vein of Farabee but with more attitude and slightly less upside. Finally Brink who is a heavy shooting winger who has elite scoring sense but not anywhere near physically ready, needs to add weight and while keeping his skating ability.

Allison and Brink are on the higher end of these guys they are arguably the number 2 and 3 forward prospects in the system right now in terms of upside. I could only see 1 of them moving in this trade scenario but not both. Maybe one of those two + a ratcliffe or Rubstov is a later pick was also coming back.
