I like it, I would move on that. They get an experienced Dman, a young asset at the blue line and a good young Center.

Yeah because a smurf 2C in Domi a smurf bottom pairing LD in Mete and another bottom pairing LD in Kulak isn't getting you Mantha Mantha wants 7 x 7m to remain in Detroit and there's no freaking way Mantha accepts 5 x 5m in high taxed Montreal. Detroit declines you're not getting Mantha without your 2020 1st being included as well.

Second thought though is i am not even sure if mantha is better than domi. Domi has had a 70 point season and mantha has not not even a 60 point season... so i think the offer was fair but we won't give that money so if you are right then this won't happen

@OP - pass from Detroit, Mantha is our best offensive player. You want him it will cost either one of Suzuki or KK otherwise we trade for a stop gap 2C or sign Haula.

both are untouchable so we would look elsewhere.. i would give up suzuki for Laine either.. it took us 10 years to get a first line center and he isn't going anywhere

Then you should look elsewhere. It would only make sense to trade Mantha for blue chip prospects to get younger and this deal doesn’t do that.

Why are Wings fans trolls because we do not want Domi?

How about Hab fans have shown they are not only trolls but complete delusional.

Your post really makes me upset, because Hab fans want their hometown boy and want to push whatever you want on another fan base, whether they make good or bad arguements.

Maybe we value Mantha as much as Hab fans and we are not just going to let him go for a player we DO NOT WANT.

I have gone over this several times and here we go again.

This trade helps out one team more than the other.
Habs have an excess of centers and need a power forward, Wings have needs at center but if we trade our only power forward to get a center we fill one hole and create another. See it helps One team, the Habs and doe snot fill the holes of the other, Wings

Not a troll post so, sorry but I have troll posts from Habs trying g to trade Mantha for Mete a 2nd and a 3rs. So shut up, I have always liked the Habs and they are my 2nd favorite team but their fan base, like you and wait for the troll post are making me really think I need to rethink my choice.

A bit offensive when someone calls you out for being offensive yourself huh? Posting on mobile OS in a quick manner happens more often than you’d think.

Here’s the TLDR of that “3’ rant”
1. Detroit doesn’t want to trade Mantha nor is he disgruntled
2. Hab fans have some weird obsession with QC players
3. Inter division premium
4. Detroit doesn’t want Domi or Mete
5. Detroit would be robbing Peter to pay Paul
6. If KK or Suzuki aren’t included there is no point from Detroit

We’ll probably need to copy and paste this a few times in the daily Mantha to Montreal ACGM.

You get really defensive when someone calls you out. If OP doesn’t want constructive criticism he doesn’t have to hit publish.

As for ridiculous trades, they come from every fan base hence the term ‘homer’. It’s already been posted 100+ times this month what the ask would be from Detroit for Mantha. I can tell you it doesn’t include a disgruntled Domi who fired his agent whom is a long friend of Bergevin for Newsport that tells me he wants top dollar. Trades need to be beneficial for both teams regardless of where one of the players were born/raised.
