I like everything here.

Like you, I'm not a believer in the widespread popular-on-CapFriendly theory that Arizona is going to give away some of its good players (notably Darcy Kuemper) just to cut some salary. I'm really hoping that they keep all of Keller, Schmaltz, Garland, Dvorak, Crouse, Hayton, Chychrun, Soderstrom and Kuemper.

And I'm a double-competitor.

Buffalo hides in a closet and quietly accepts in hopes the owners never notice the signing bonus

I like the team...not sure your ready to move on from the stability stepan offers you if smaltz isn't capable of 1c but with an internal cap not bad. Fingers crossed right.

I doubt AA is qualified, at $3M, but I also doubt Raanta returns much given his durability concerns. So, eh. Wouldn't really bother me, but probably not what I would do. I'd probably rather have a third than qualify AA (who would be fine as a free agent add at under $3M, but...)

Stepan is only owed $2M outstanding. Schmaltz shouldn't be a center. Haven't seen anything that suggests Hayton is capable of playing big minutes. Can't see dumping Stepan under those circumstances.

Love the idea of adding Lowry, but Jets are also looking at adding centers not giving them away.

His signing bonus was paid on July 1st.

Buffalo hits accept and proudly goes to the Pegulas with it like a 5th grader who just aced their math test.

cool, dvo was significantly better than Schmaltz who was significantly better than Stepan, and Hayton is gonna get time, I'd gladly take a 3rd for Stepan

And Schmaltz isn't really capable as 1C, but neither is Stepan soooo... 🤷‍♀️
