I don't think he's "so good", I'll call him what he is. He's a 3rd liner, who can play up on wing if you have an elite center and ideally an elite winger with him. I think he's alright, not "so good". But he's responsible defensively, good in the dot, is pretty fast, can kill penalties, and can contribute to and keep up with the play. Not bad for a 3C at all.

You only see him being traded because IF we got Petro, we couldn't afford the luxury of having Kerfoot as our 3C
