Columbus isn’t trading Texier and a 1st for Nylander.... trading who would be a 1st liner in Columbus for a guy who would be the 2nd line center. Texier was Columbus best rookie and still on an ELC for 2 years, he’s off the table.

did you just trade willy for a low 1st rounder and a guy who's gonna play on the 4th line this year?

Willy was among the best forwards in the league this year for net front goals, zone entries, he's an elite passer, great shot. Guy is a stud, he drives offense and he's been getting better every year. He's not even in his prime and he's locked up at below market value for 4 more years

I can not understate how bad that Slavin trade is, I don't think you can actually be serious about that trade.
