Ideal Roster with a Real Goalie

Created by: yikes
Team: 2020-21 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 24, 2020
Published: Sep. 24, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
A strong top line with the hopes of rebounding; with Hertl leading I have faith Meier can prove his worth after experiencing failure. Kane had a solid year last year and expect the same.

Labanc playing with Couture and Galch is a talented 2nd line with potential. Couture is obviously couture and Labanc after experiencing failure while losing his own bet I guarantee he drives this line and in turn could see galchenyuk putting up 30-40 points easily.

A strong checking third line with some talent to put a few points in

A line driven by a true, expecting gambrell to step up, and giving ho sang a new scenery

First pair; expecting Ferraro really to show us what we got with him this year as he was really the brightest spot on a terrible team last year.

Hoping these two can regain their old form from before last season.

Third pair hoping reduced playtime can help Vlasic and TVR gets a chance to hold down a shut down pair together.

If the trade is now an underpay don’t take it up with me as I offered over a first prior and was told it was way to much so I’ll leave it at that

I think Andersen is worth a 1st if he came with an extension. The market for goalies is all over the place right now. Murray, Markstrom, Lehner (even though he's officially-unofficially signed), Korpisalo, Gerogiev, Talbot, Smith... who knows.

Also, I'm hoping for a Shark comeback. Karlsson will have fully rested his body and he will return to form.

If Andersen was interested willing to extend within the offseason or start of next year I’d offer the first easily (2020 first not our 2021), I think if we said Korenar and a first and Andersen said yes and yes to willing to work towards an extension as traded I think it’s more then fair

No Maroon please I would rather a rook be thrown in there like Gergor. TvR seems fine but it's all about Pickels and what he wants. His defense has been much worse since he lost Braun. The Sharks need him comfortable again IMO. Kane takes too many penaltys his value drops to the second under this staff with Jhon Madden. Which leaves a 3rd line right wing in question here.
