No, OTT will NOT take JJ for Murray. Nonetheless giving up one of the best pieces in the whole league right now in a 3rd overall pick...

Me saying OTT isn't trading 3OA for Murr and JJ is bad?

OTT would want Murray and a future like Legare or POJ at least to take Johnson back. Murray just had a bad year, regardless of how good he was before.

There is absolutely zero chance pens would do that. If pens gave you Murray and JJ we’d still get another asset back. Murray struggled this year sure, but he’s 1 year removed from a .919 save percentage and only 26.

With you have no leverage coupled with Murr having a bad year really makes it hard for me to think you get an asset back for Murr and JJ. Still think you'd have to add

Johnson may suck, but his contract isn’t that bad. You literally took on Zaitsev (who has a worse contract) for Connor brown... it’s clear as day that Murray at the time of trade has wayyyyy more value than brown, contract issue or not.

If sens take on Zaitsev + brown (and it’s actually worked out)

They don’t think twice when they have the option of Murray and JJ
