Miller's not leaving Southern California, He either signs for another year with Anaheim or retires.

He has said he wants to play and that he feels he can still contribute to a team. He lived in buffalo for 11 years, I think he will survive

Pretty sure he meant a west coast team not east coast team, With his actress wife based out of LA. Can't see him leaving the west coast. Time will tell in the next few weeks.

Bruins are not trading Grzelcyk with Krug leaving and Chara, who will get a limited role.

You can get Ritchie for free if you want tho

I'd definitely listen on him, but wouldn't consider a move like this. I think I would move him for a goalie though, Bennett for Andersen (w/ extension) or Bennett for Murray could make sense for us. But I'm certainly not willing to move him and a pick for Montour, who Sabres fans seem to think is garbage

No. Boston needs a pair of LD as it is, not moving the only reliable one they have for picks.

Have to add a mid-round pick for Hagelin to Buf, and a mid-round pick for Hutton to WSH.

We dont think montour is garbage. We simply have too many RHD and the GM that traded for him was fired and his skill set isnt utilized by our coach.

Bennett is nothing special either

Caps have no checking wings better than Hagelin, but three goalies better than Hutton. The post this quotes was all about Tampa, and they declined my Hutton offer.

edit: If not two picks, just one 2nd. Any year.

I think he still wants to win a cup too if he can. Maybe he comes in as a deadline acquisition of the Sabres end up looking legit good, but I think he’s staying in the west

The Caps are probably giving Viacek a long long at backup next year

Yeah. Vanecek played better than Copley in Hershey last year. Copley and Samsonov each have just one NHL season, but they were good.

Agreed, Just don't see him leaving Southern California. Though i wouldn't be against bringing him home to Michigan on a one year deal to end his career with the hometown Red Wings.

Hes worth way more than the 38th overall pick, another pick and us taking on a guy most here want to buy out?

I dont think so

Amazing the worth some put on DeBrusk and Grzelcyk. Laughable at times really.

Nature of fans, they want as much as possible for as little as possible and many can only determine value by looking at basic stats.

I’m far more amazed at how Boston fans value Grizz. He’s a solid 2nd pair type, but there are plenty out there that seem to think he’s first pair caliber. One insisted that they would not be able to sign him for under 5m. Lol.

I feel like there’s this plague running through cap friendly where posters are only concerned with value, and not with what the team needs. The bruins are a Stanley cup contender that might lose 2 out of 3 of their left shot D from the last two years. You’re having them trade the third for a second round draft pick.

No, of course they aren’t doing that.

I was responding to someone that specifically wanted to talk about his value.

You may be right. You might not. I think I made a fair trade.

Ok hoss. What is grzelcyk worth?

I traded the 38th overall pick, another pick and took on a salary many Bruins fans want gone for nothing.

What is he worth?
