if Barzal signs an OS

Description
If lou can get Ladd or Boychuk on LTIR I don't think it would be tough to retain all 3 RFAs, at all.
Could avoid giving up some prospects by getting rid of Leddy, even though Trotz's loves him. Probably gonna have to get rid of him if Lou & Trotz really dont like Bellows, like Staple suggested.

What if Pulock signs an offersheet? And then Toews?

If no one takes him, Leddy’s buyout is pretty team friendly just saying...

This is also a 20 man roster, you still have to sign 2-3 more players

There’s a better chance bergevin trades for Jack Johnson

I think there will be multiple suitors if isles retain 500 -750 k

Lol maybe you would if you were the Jets GM. Conservative Cheveldayoff isn’t OS anyone.

Out of those contracts the one that would most likely have a high OS % would be Toews. You offered 2.25M x 2 years and I wouldn’t bat an eye at a max 2nd round compensation ~4.25M OS with the same term. I get he’d have to accept the OS but 4M over the 2 years and being taxed less might be appealing.

Honestly, I have a weird feeling about this off-season for Chevy, they’ve made it clear they know they have major issues to fill and even have Laine potentially moving to fill them, I wouldn’t put it past them to tender an offer sheet.

They would have to significantly overpay for pulock to consider signing the OS. He’s not looking to leave NYI -he grew up an isles fan and is very close with trotz.

If WPG OS 6.25-5 x 5 he wouldn’t sign it.

But 8 mill x 5? Then there’s a chance. It will be similar to marner and point, he doesn’t want to leave.

I’m sure Jets would tender 7x5 and if it’s signed, it’s signed, if not then that’s okay. I’d like to see them O/S one of Pulock or Cernak. Likely could get cernak at like 4.3m for 5 years
