I think Shattenkirk will take more money too. People always trashed him and Tamp picked him up. He showed he can play both ways. I don't think he'll break the bank, but he won't sign for $1M.

Regardless of Maroon getting 2 cups in a row he is still a 4th liner, if he is asking for too much then Tampa can't afford him which is a real shame. Before the flat cap I had Shattenkirk pinned for 4-4.5M for like 3 years. I think he will probably sign for around 3.5M now, obviously that is too much for Tampa regardless. I really liked Schenn in these playoffs, thought he played pretty solid before getting hurt. He shouldn't be expensive to bring back and he worked really well in the 11-7 strategy.

I think it is obvious how great Shatterkirk and Maroon are/were .. you could argue Shatterkirk was Team MVP this year as the NEW piece .. he was grade A to me and will cash in for 4 year 12M which Gampa can't afford and will replace with Foote .. Maroon will be at Colorado or Carolina next year .. maybe even Vancouver .. wants to be first 3x Cup winner
