Tampa matches. I don't get the Minnesota trade. Moving up 6 spots in the draft for a starting goalie? No thanks.

And no way Pietrangelo takes that.

Why are the flames sending the better 3c and pick to Toronto in that deal?

im not saying he would take it but toronto could get away with loading the signing bonuses which Stl didnt want to do, essentially making his contract almost lockout/buyout proof.

also i could be wrong but i thought i read somewhere he was willing to take a little less to come home but again i could very much so be wrong.

We don't know that for sure but the word is STL has $8M on the table right now and he is not taking it.

There are other factors of why or how a player would take less AVV. Bonus structure, Front loaded NTC/NMC, location safety, endorsements, and many more. You don't know what's in his head.

Carlo Colaiacovo was on the radio the other day and said while playing with Pietrangelo is STL Alex and him spoke in depth about how it was playing for the Leafs.

He's got his cup, He will get his money no matter where he goes. Maybe he just wants to play near home. He has has young triplets at home and maybe wants to be close to his family in Toronto Who knows.

1. AJ doesn't fit in NYR line up and certainly not for our 1b G
2. Dermott isn't as good as you think, most of the nhl team have a deeper D than TML so he would be a 5th/6th best.

3. MIN can buy a number of stud goalies in a flat market so they wouldn't just take Freddy of your hands unless they were keeping their own 1st in that package

4. Bennett is the better player so you would have to give up a 2nd while getting a 5th/6th in return

Bennett is not better at all looool.
Switch picks in the Wild trade, make it even somehow.
Dermott is still relatively young and has good potential, hasn't been able to play a lot because we have Rielly and Muzzin on the left side.

If Kerfoot is better then you desperately need to keep him for what’s left of your window to win it

Rangers want none of what’s being offered and Georgiev isn’t available
