Really depends on if Minny retains. Lot of cap to take back for a bad goalie and a forward who has fallen out of favor making 2 mil.

I just hate the idea of this from the Sharks' perspective. Donato if available, I understand inquiring about. But Dubnyk? Really Wilson?

It’s one year and they don’t need the cap space

Dubnyk is most certainly gone. You’re right on the fact that they’ve talked which is why I made this. Think it’s an okay fit since Sharks have the cap space, won’t have to send a contract back.

Braun + Brodzinski signed is because of rumor that Wild are targeting MN born players. Want more home grown talent

Guerin was asked directly about that rumor by Michael Russo last week and he shot it down.

Russo - On putting to rest this notion that has gained legs this offseason that there’s some edict from an owner from Wisconsin who wants nothing more than to win a Stanley Cup that the team needs to acquire more Minnesotans:

Guerin - “Let me be clear, I don’t care where a guy’s from. I couldn’t care less if he’s from Minnesota, Massachusetts, Michigan, California or Moscow. I don’t care. I want the best players that we can get. And if he happens to be from Bloomington, Minnesota, then so be it. And if not, then no problem. I don’t care where a person’s from. … It’s funny how these stories start. I don’t know where they start, but that’s just not the case.”

The Sharks don’t or Minnesota doesn’t? Sharks assuredly need the space given the need to add to the forward group.

Sharks already said they’re spending to the cap.. I’m sure they’ll add to every position
