Also the bolts wouldn’t even trade kuch

kuch puts the rangers in cap trouble to bring back everyone, pretty much undos the cap clearing moves they made, obviously would love kuch but rangers aren't giving up a prospect for an older player yet.

What? .. a MVP in his 20s for a kid that hasn't played 1 shift? .. Kuch rocks and I think had more fun/maturity this year .. Ranger fans counting on sub 21 year old players make me laugh

I think Lafreniere definitely has Kuch potential but I agree I wouldn't take that risk. Pretty sure both teams decline

You know what the funny thing is, I don’t count on a team that sub 21 years old.
I don’t expect much. We what we have and the future is very bright and we will become a dynasty in a couple of years. I rather develop the best prospect in the draft since McDavid than have success with much rn. All though kuch Mika and Artemi would be top 3 in the league, I rather have laf and so do the rangers franchise. Would you rather be lethal in years to come or be good now and only make it to the second round bc if the rangers trade for kuch that’s exactly what would happen. Also the bolts wouldn’t give up kuch and the rangers wouldn’t give up laf so what was the point of the trade?

Only I’ve can tell but if he eventually plays on a line with Mika, Artemi. I can see it happening just by studying his play and watching his throughout the years.

He is projected to be as good as Panarin but plays a more physical game. Dont underrate him. Hes the best draft pick since Matthews. Sure he may never hit 128 but his floor is probably Kovalchuk in terms of production.

Yet kucherov on a down year was almost as good as panarin, I’m not saying panarin and laf are bad it’s just kuch is better

I'm not disagreeing, I'm a bolts fan and wouldnt make that trade. But you are judging a book by its cover here. Lafreniere has immense potential and there is no reason to think he cant be as good as Kucherov.

Not in the slightest lol panarin has one top 5 season and you think he’s better than the guy who has been at least 100 point pace for 4 seasons

Last 3 seasons*
Panarin hasnt been playing with stamkos point and hedman the last 3 years, CBJ had the 7th worst PP in 17-18, and then 4th worst in 18-19, mean while TB was 3rd 17-18, then 1st in 18-19

Damn I didn’t know panarin was on the lightning and why do you think Tampa’s pp is so good? Because of kucherov. And kucherov only played 10 games on a line with stammer his whole career and advanced analytics show that this is panarins true breakout season in terms of becoming a star

I don't think either team does that first trade ... Kucherov is a proven superstar and arguably the best player in the NHL ... I don't see Tampa trading him for an unproven player. And Lafreniere is a huge part of our future in NY, I can't see us moving the pick.
