I doubt he'd want to go play in Calgary or Winnipeg, where he'd also have to pay higher taxes.

Im not sure this team works, your probably gonna have to pay some one to give you a salary retained right dman. Putting foote in for top minutes now is just ruining good prospects. Your gonna miss a lot of guys your letting walk too. Just my opinion but tampa would still need to move gourde or stamkos for cheaper options in order to fill this roster.

Some GM needs to nut up and throw an OS at one of their guys still. Strike first, strike hard, no mercy!

Foote would get sheltered minutes like they did with Sergachev. Sergy would play the right side in higher pressure situations. Tampa throws it's dpairings in a blender every game.

I mean, he was the king of his high school... For a while anyway...

Yeah I just started that show. It's actually pretty funny, and the nostalgia factor is definitely appealing as well.

Would Tampa consider Timmins for Cernak straight up? Gives you a young NHL-ready RHD with top 4 potential on an ELC for another year, and gives you the means to resign Cirelli and Sergachev.

I don't think so. Apparently Tampa's untouchables are Kuch, Point, Vasy, Hedman and the 3 rfas according to Bob McKenzie and JBB. Did Timmins play this post season?

As much as I like Timmins, this would be a good idea. Avs get an EJ replacement and TB gets a guy that should be a really good player and is also cheap. Even better for Colorado if Barron falls in the draft today.

Yes Timmins played game 5 and 6 against Dallas. He hurt his shoulder in game 6 though so was out for game 7.
