There is no chance the Wild even consider this. None.

I would literally piss on Justin Holl before trading anything even slightly worth a damn for him

And which one suggests he'd trade a prospect drafted in the 2nd round last year for an overpaid player in a position they're deepest at?

Well let me think...

Luke Kunin drafted 15th overall moved for Bonino who's a $4m third liner...
Ryan Donato young promising depth player drafted 2nd round flipped for a 3rd...
Eric Staal traded for a sandwich...

The point being Guerin has made questionable moves that show he's greatly undervaluing his talent and overpaying for other players.

Kunin was traded for Bonino? I guess next you'll tell me Zucker was traded for Galchenyuk. Bonino is there as a roster player to clear cap for Nashville and be someone the Wild can flip at the deadline as plenty of teams will be looking for a rental center just like they are every year. The return for Kunin was a 2nd and 3rd round pick, which isn't bad for a guy who probably won't ever be more than a 3rd line player. Kunin was drafted to be a center and given a few chances to be one and yet always ended up on the wing so the return on him is fine.

Donato was moved out of courtesy to him to give him a chance to play. He wasn't going to get a top 6 role in the Wild and Guerin admitted Donato deserved better. It would have been nice if Guerin got a 2nd for him, but I'd guess he tried and the 3rd was the best offer out there.

Staal trade was bad, should have included a pick at least since Minnesota gave up the better player. That hardly makes all of his moves bad, most of them made sense if you actually put some thought into why.
