Chiasson moving out and signing Kahun fixes RW/LW ratio. I looked at a few teams, and Chiasson might be better either to NJ or LA.

Why does Ottawa need a net front PP guy? You know Brady Tkachuk exists right?

If Brady ever finds any finishing ability, he's a legitimate to hit 40+. As it is, I think he'll be money in the bank 30 goals a season.

I always liked Chiasson, but...

There was a year that Sens fans freaked out when they used Chris Neil on the PP. Chiasson was originally on the PP, but got pushed out of the front of the net over and over by Shea Weber in Nashville, so the Sens put Neil in front of the net, and the battle was on. Neil stayed in place, lol. I don't remember how many games Neil eventually played on the PP, but it was because Chiasson got pushed out by Weber.

Chiasson played well enough in Ottawa, until he got into a puck battle along the boards. In two years, I don't ever remember Chiasson winning a board battle. As time went on, it took longer for him to lose the battles though, so there was improvement, lol.

Chiasson for cheap would be fine, but expectations would be low as well. Ottawa fans know Chiasson. The trade you posted isn't bad, it's the reasoning included that got slammed, lol

BTW, Ottawa will make the cap floor easily, and will probably be $5MM over the floor.
