Before the jets got stastny and perfetti I wondered if Toews could be their center solution. Itd be weird to see him anywhere but Chicago but he is a good Manitoba boy so the peg makes sense if he wanted to play close to home. It's probably a reasonable price to pay for him with all that salary retained, but I wouldn't want to give up that much. Would be cool to see Toews in a Jets jersey but that's one of the worst trades ever on here, massive overpay even with the retention, wouldn't give half of that for him.
