I think this really works for both sides considering TB is really up against a wall here. 2 young former 1st round picks and roughly 7 million in cap space is a nice return for TB

Forget the value for Tampa part. It would be impossible to buyout Smith since no RFAs went to arbitration for the Lightning.

I looked through 20 TBL armchair gm teams on here and they sign him for as low as 3 million and as high as 5.5 million. I went with the higher number-ish
