Bruins will only move DeBrusk if they get an upgrade at LW, whatever it is by trade or free agency. Sanford isn't needed, we have enough bottom-6 players.

I think Armstrong can sign Dunn 3M×2. And Sanford can be good shopping piece for expansion draft.

Just so we're on the same page, last season Sanford scored more goals at even strength than everyone on the Bruins except Marchand and Pastrnak - he was tied with Coyle in EV pts. He's a pretty useful player at 1.5m if Debrusk is going the other way.

I have no idea why Blues fans hate Sanford

Good for him and it doesn't hurt to play with O'Reilly and Perron. We just got Smith for that (5on5 scoring). Let's see if Sanford can reproduce that another year (not saying he won't, I will just wait and see). I want an upgrade (top6 established NHLer) on DeBrusk for LW if he's being traded and right now, I don't see Sanford being an upgrade. You can disagree.

Def helps playing with ROR and DP. All I meant was if you put Sanford in for JDB at top 6 LW in Boston and added Dunn at LD, I'd call that a W for the B's. I see what you're saying about holding on to Debrusk unless you can upgrade there.

Seems you kinda forgot the whole Dunn for your decimated D part. smile

Any way you slice it, the Blues aren't doing this.

I get that but we aren't moving DeBrusk if we don't replace him up front. Need a top4 LHD and an upgrade at LW, not get a top4 but have a 3rd liner on the 2nd.
