So Hank is LTIR and insured. Engvall doesn’t hold enough value to get that early second round pick and not a need for Detroit. You should also show Hronek a little respect.

Ya Detroit isn't taking that. Maybe if it was like a 3rd (Vegas) they would consider it

Detroit doesn’t need you take Zetterberg since his contract is insured and we’re one of the richest teams in the league. We already have way too many bottom 6 forwards and Engvall really isn’t any better than them.

You're way too low on both Bertuzzi and Mantha, Engvall sucks and we've no use for him, Zetterberg isn't getting moved Engvall isn't worth no 2nd. Ryan and Hronek will be in the lineup no thanks on Hoffman.

Can I ask why you taking Zetterberg? He has most likely been paid the final $1M he is owed and LTIR covers his cap hit.

Pass from Detroit. Toronto needs to clear cap space far more than Detroit needs another 4th liner.
Honestly, even if Engvall was offered for Future Considerations, I'd pass. Players like him are easy to find in free agency for around league minimum, and controllable term. Wings already have several prospects that could fill that roll right now. It's not a position of need. Detroit has no salary cap or money issues, so trading Zetterberg's insured contract makes no sense. The guy was captain for a few years, and an integral part of Wings dominance in the 2000s. If anything, they'll let it play out and hope he can take up a role in the front office.
One other note to consider, the disparity in draft picks. The difference between Detroit's 2nd and Toronto's 4th means that Engvall is worth dropping from a prospect like William Wallinder to Artur Akhtyamov. No thank you.
