I think something being overlooked too when evaluating the moves is the room got a lot better. Huge to have guys like Thornton, Simmonds, and Bogosian in the room to hold guys accountable. Need someone who isn't afraid to yell at the "superstars".

That's what I mean when I said they fit team need better.

A lot of things went wrong last season. The coach got fired, Andersen was below average, Barrie couldn't get going and the secondary scoring dried up. That was on top of the RNG-level of effort they would give.

I agree the coaching hires were Excellent. I mean, how can you possibly complain about having a Jack Adams winner as an assistant coach?
