Matheson is in no way a cap dump. Penguins will get value for him if they trade him.

Buddy your a sens fan. You don't know anything about the pens. And Matheson is very valuable to them atm. Maybe if he plays bad in the next few years he will be a cap dump but he is young and has plenty of potential so no way we trading him. As is we wasted Horny on him smh

I agree with @Borocop. Matheson Is a cap dump. That was a horrible trade. Get rid of one (JJ) to get another (Matheson). And then sign Ceci? That’s bad. That pair will be garbage!

God no! That's horrible for the Wild. I may be a avid fan of both teams but the only player even remotely worth it for us is POJ, and he's not enough.

Bad fit, for both teams. I don't see us making any more trades, we're pretty well exhausted on who we can send each other.

Ottawa has ZERO need for Matheson. Chabot, Brannstrom, Wolanin with Reilly on stand by, and Sanderson probably getting some games as early as 21-22.
So, whether you think he's a cap dump or not doesn't matter. Unless you're trading an unreasonable load of assets with him, Ottawa is not a landing spot.

Hornqvist is one of the best players on the Penguins team and is now arugably the 5th BEST Player on the panthers. The guy could have fetched a 2nd and a 3rd value wise. Don't forget about what he did for us in 2016-2017 playoffs. You don't know crap obviously about the penguins.

matheson is a bottom pair guy on a bad contract till he proves otherwise, i think he can re-find his game in pit but hes not worth anything really rn
