Roslovic Trade

Created by: Rooney
Team: 2020-21 Winnipeg Jets
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 2, 2020
Published: Nov. 2, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
As a fan of both teams, I still found it hard to pinpoint a fair value in a Roslovic trade. I figured Roslovic has more value than Rasmussen so I added Timashov as a depth player with some upside as well.

Thoughts from both sides is welcome!

Why would we trade Roslovic for prospects....this is a bad decision....

I would want Antti Tuomisto coming back since we need a big rd. And that’s if we have to trade Roslovic for prospects. Otherwise, I’m going for a top 4 d using Roslovic in a package

Totally fair and I would agree that an NHL player coming back, whether that be on D or FWD is more ideal. Just throwing out an option I haven't seen yet!

Detroit isn't trading Tuomisto for Roslovic.

Actually don't see Detroit giving up Rasmussen for Roslovic. If Holland had sent him back to the WHL instead of keeping him in Detroit 2 seasons ago he would probably be on Detroit to start the season.

I think it's pretty close to fair, roslovic has the chance of being a 2 or 3C and at this point Rasmussen is a 3C or 3W. Prob a fair deal

I know they aren’t. Just stating the price if I were to trade Roslovic for futures

That’s really bad luck for the guy. He was playing in Finland last I checked, I thought it would be good for him.

The jets shouldn’t have much interest in him though as he’s just another ld to add to the overcrowded ld prospect pool

He is now back in North America. It's really bad luck there are a lot of people in Detroit really excited about him and I can't even imagine how he feels.

Very tough. Always really liked him. Wouldn’t been a solid top 4 guy imo. Still can be, but I’m starting to think injuries might be an issue
