I think with Stastny it just comes down to 1 year vs 2.

Yup but my thought also was as an example; Jets:

You’d rather statsny than fleury cause you wanted center help and you don’t need a goalie

For sure. I guess trying to take an objective look at it away from need I would finish up with: If it stinks, at least it only stinks for a year.
