Wings not trading Larkin. He is not a superstar, very good player, future captain and hometown boy and draw. He is a very good player along with Mantha, Bertuzzi, Hronek. Seider and Zadina to build a solid team around. Also we have no centers behind him to take up the slackx yet. He is really are only center worth his salt on the active roster.

Scraps don't get you our hometown kid and future Captain, That trade is brutal for Detroit and not remotely close to getting Dylan Larkin.

Carolina have a host of great wingers and Slavin is one of the best DFDs in hockey. Try Zibanejad and that might start a conversation. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid no from both sides.
