I’d think Ladd ends up on Robidas Island and as the post here shows, moving Komarov for cap space will be a lot easier if there’s only one year left on the deal.

I think it all depends on Sorokin. If he’s good enough to take the starter job in his first year, and I think he very well could be, then maybe the Isles let Seattle take Varlamov, freeing up 5m in cap space, then signing a backup goaltender in free agency on a cheap one year deal. If not, maybe we let them take Bailey. The Isles have plenty of big contracts are still good players but the Isles expose for the sake of clearing cap.
