Don't know why you think Jones for Vasy is better. Vlasic is the worst contract in the league and Hedman is the best defenseman and one of the better contracts in the league.

Yup! I believe the rules are 1 for 1, must stay under the cap, must have a 23 man roster! And yeah, it is a fun one.

These are valid points - before I remembered that it had to be 1 for 1 I had a trade lined up with Jones, Vlasic, and Labanc going to Tampa for Vasilevskiy, Hedman, and Maroon - because hey, can't win the cup without Maroon these days! - and I am saddened that I couldn't make that happen under the rules.

Im a Pens fan. So I would trade Matheson for MacKinnon on the Pens..lol. Having Sid, Mackinnon and Geno on the same team..lol. Or trade for someone on an E-L contract. Like Svechnikov, trade Matheson for Svechnikov!! Lol.

Ya, or McDavid, I’ll make the cap work..lol. I’ll trade acouple more players away and even take a discount on them to get McDavid. Or I’ll trade Matheson and Zucker for McDavid!! That would be like 10M right there!!
