We are hoping that the Montreal trade will be a good ol' fleecing as well.

Columbus got a hell of a deal for Domi as well, especially if Anderson's shoulder is not totally healed. I didn't like Domi when he arrived in Montreal now I hate to see him gone. I wish he had been content on the wing though lol.

I would assume MTL makes that trade based on the fact that his shoulder is back to 100%. I love the trade for MTL. size, speed, character. 2 of those 3 you don't get from DOMI

Torts might hate Domi. but Torts might hate everyone.

If Andersons Shoulder is back to 100%, MTL wins that trade. Especially if they get Anderson of 2 years ago.

I thinks its more Domi might hate Tortorella. The style Domi plays, taking stupid penalties will not sit well with Tortorella and Domi might get a little frustrated like he was in Montreal.

Ottawa accepts, and they can sign Methot to a 1 day deal and include him if you want.

I assume that as well but there is the risk that even though it is 100% it gets reinjured.

It won’t. The contract could absolutely end up being regrettable for the habs, but the trade itself won’t be bad. Anderson is a player that fits our team much better than Domi did/would have.

2 years ago Anderson had 47 points and domi had 72. This past year Anderson had like 2 goals... domi has been better every single year of his career. MTL got fleeced. And then they locked up Anderson to a massive contract

Domi led ur team in points during the 18-19 season while playing C LMAO. How can you say Anderson will fit MTL better than domi when he was your best player for an entire season

Domi would be our 4th best C right now, and he sucks on the wing. Domi had a career year offensively in 18-19, but he wasn’t even our 1C. And he wasn’t even the driving force on his line, without Andrew Shaw he wouldn’t have come close to 70 points. And that’s two years ago, when the habs weren’t as deep.

While he’s still a good player, as was clearly shown in the playoffs, there is no room for him on the habs.

Domi will always get points, he's that type of player, but yes he proved last year that he isnt a fit in MTL. We need to stop worrying about the amount of points players puts up vrs is he a fit for the make up and a need to the team. Because if we are using the "but he had XX amount of points so he is better" model then explain why Taylor Hall is on his 4th team when he is only 29 years old....

Domi would be your 4th best C right now? That’s a little harsh considering he did have a better regular season than JK forsure and there’s an argument for Suzuki as well. He still finished 3 in points for MTL this year. And LOL Andrew Shaw definitely wasn’t the “driving force” on that line. There is no room for domi on the habs because he wants to play C, and MTL will role the dice with their two young Cs in JK and Suzuki, as well as pending UFA danault. That being said, I still think he’s definitely a better player than Anderson
