I wouldn't mind Hanifin, but take out Bennett and keep Wallmark. I think Wallmark is a real sleeper and gonna come in and hold down the bottom 6. Bennett is okay, but I just don't see him being anything all that special.

Unfortunately, that's not going to get us Bean, although I wish it would. Not sure what CAR would want for him -- they've got a lot of LHDs, I can't imagine all of them stay.

The Jets would have to say no as taking on Keith is another 4.5 million in cap space. Maybe if they could shed a contract like Perreault’s? Which I think would be quite costly for them in the form of draft picks, then WHY? Chicago should be paying the Jets draft picks for Keith imo. So the more I think about it a BIG NO. The Jets are better off to play and develop their young talent such as Heinola and Samberg.

Be VERY cautious with Hanifin. He's on thin ice in Calgary. Quite frankly...he hasn't panned out to being even close the player people expected him to be. He's not a #1LD for sure though.

Oh I didn't mean he was disliked. I'm sure he's a heck of a guy. I meant he hasn't lived up to his expectations. He was supposed to Grow from his 33point season and he did NOT. He stunk last year. Doesn't mean one year predicts his career. I would just be cautious about trading away serious pieces for him. I can certainly understand if someone said that about Strome too.

He's 23...
Also this will be his first season in Calgary not stapled to Hamonic who is an offensive black hole. Hanifin played very well with Andersson and put up solid numbers. His GF jumped 6% when with Andersson instead of Hamonic and his Corsi jumped 3.5%.

Also the entire team stunk last year, singling out Hanifin makes no sense

Whatever dude. This trade brings up him....that's why were talking about him and not how badly Monahan played. I didn't randomly bring him up out of no where.

LMAO, no, the Hawks don't need to be paying anyone to take Keith at $4.5M. The guy is a very very solid 2nd liner anchor, and Roslovic right now is nothing better then a 3rd liner winger (which are a dime a dozen in the NHL) and isn't showing he will be.
