They have to make some stride and show a fair bit of improvement before I’d say they can but I suppose it is certainly possible.

If this is based on Dangle's prospect pyramid, I think this is fairly optimistic for several players at this point in time. Specifically Colangelo, Lacombe, Thrun, and especially Dostal I would say are too high (although if I did a Ducks pyramid I'd probably have Lundestrom a rank up, I feel like after Zegras and Drysdale he's your best prospect honestly). His model isn't just based on ceiling, because plenty of guys have a high ceiling, but if they look like they're never gonna actually reach it they shouldn't be ranked there alongside guys who are far more likely to be stars.

Why?

If we are talking about overall potential I think LaCombe is higher, while I think Lundestrom will be a solid NHL player I don’t know if he’ll be a solid top 6 guy, with LaCombe I think it could be the case he never plays an NHL game but I can also see him becoming a solid top 4 player

It is kinda based on his but with more of a focus on ceiling, I totally see your points with Colangelo and LaCombe, but I do stand by Thrun and Dostal, though I admit I may be a bit too high on Thrun, Dostal though I think has crazy potential and the ability to do it, the kid has broken the Liiga with a 10-1 W record on a team that is 50/50 without him in net.
I agree if I did it with out the bias towards ceiling LaCombe and Colangelo probably drop a bit and Lundestrom would rise.
