Philly declines - makes no sense for them to make that trade

Think about you’re the leafs and you’re competing so to get better you make this trade. Philly is competing so why would that trade make them better you get me?

ah yes, the good old "any team" trade.

Chris Johnston and Friedman corroborated the fact that many teams were willing to give up 2nd rounders+ for johnsson, and I'd argue kerf has quite a bit more value than johnsson, given that he plays centre, is better defensively and didn't just have a season-ending knee injury (and also has a slightly better NHL resume)

ik that's literally not even close to the focus of this acgm, but still, kerf has value >: (

as for the rest of it, idk enough about the trades so I'll let others comment on that

Wild decline they don't need Holl. Just because Holl is from Minnesota doesn't mean you should trade him there. The Wild defense is already set.

We need to start a Kerfoot Mafia or something to get him the protection and respect he deserves... really silly he's dismissed after two 40 point seasons no less

he had 5 goals 3 assists in 16 games playing an average of 13m a night before he got bulldozed by jeff carter on november 5th. Played like 3-5 more games hurt then found out he needed facial reconstruction surgery cause his jaw was fractured to bits. He came back wearing a cage after missing 3 games and was never really the same for the rest of the year.

It was a turbulent year for the guy, esp on a new team. Bounced all around the lineup, top 6, third line, lost johnsson to injury, mikheyev was out, couldn't really establish chemistry - just a mess tbh. Definitely expecting him to have a great bounceback next year

With how good Sanheim is I agree but definitely tricky to quantify NP's value with everything going on 🤕

I think a Nylander for Sanheim trade is very close. Sanheim is super underrated, Nylander pretty overrated. Realistically though Philly adds and I think a player like Patrick is worth it for both sides
