Description
I know these trades are not favourable for TB. The reality is TB is in a terrible cap situation, at the worst possible time (2020), therefore they are going to be exploited HARD.
Here’s what I think is a realist way to become a cap compliant team, NOT a better team, I think it’s extremely unlikely they could become a better team based on their situation.

TBL
ANA
  1. Killorn, Alex
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (TBL)
Additional Details:
Yes, based on their cap situation and the fact no one is taking salary, they have to pay to get rid of Killorn.
3.
TBL
  1. Fabbro, Dante
Additional Details:
I know NASH is high on Fabbro and for good reason. But they decide to give up the good RD for an even better LD.
NSH
  1. Sergachev, Mikhail
Additional Details:
Although Sergachev is a hard piece to lose, this move gives them cap space and helps to balance their RD LD.

He probably wanted at least 7M. 3-4 is way bow what he will get

actually it was more like 5-6 and everyone told him to pound salt.
Teams have too many cap issues right now. It's not just this years cap it's next years, and they have cash flow problems.
He's not getting the term he wants because he's to old for teams to want to dish that out. And he's not going to get the money he wants because teams simply don't have it to throw around. On top of it, lots of roster spots could be taken up by younger players this year. As no CHL will accelerate that happening.

you don't need to be hoffmans agent to know he's basically said the money ain't there with people reporting on the offers.
But go on there. keep the nonsense.

Nah, there's no point to prove, as you have done nothing but assume what will happen. As I've already said, you have no evidence saying either Johnson or Killorn won't agree to a trade, just your own hopes and assumptions. Until you either have a confirmed source that says they won't move or Brisebois makes a move, then guess what, you know jack **** more then anyone else. Anyway, back to ignore you go and now, back to reality.

pretty sure he's not trying to prove anything concrete, judge. it's called an educated guess. supply/demand, modern economics. the sky is blue, horses don't roam free through your backyard

I agree with this statement, however NASH is not the contender they were a couple years back. Their current big 3 D are very good but aging, is NASH going to be a true contender again before they start to decline? I personally don’t think so.
They take the better player in this deal and worry about the LD RD balance down the road.

They have to pray that Seattle bites on one of their big contracts down the middle (Johansen, Duchene) but I'm pretty sure that the NSH, goalie prospect, Connor Ingram, he would be more attractive!

Never let reality get in the way of a good story!! I'm on ignore for @JTBF81 thinking I said something that I didn't. He claims I said that Johnson & Killorn wouldn't agree to a trade, this is incorrect, however I DID say it would be difficult in this new COVID flat-cap for two years reality. Teams have two financial realities (1) Limited cap space, but more importantly (2) an internal payroll spend they're willing to do. Afterall, hockey is a business, and few want to lose money while chasing the cup.

January 13th start date...25 days fpr Tampa to get cap compliant. Nashville, Detroit and NJD are licking their chops!!
