2019 First Round Tier List

Description
It's the king of the posters, mondo, here with the undisputable tier list for the 2019 draft. And by "undisputable" I mean entirely disputable.

These rankings are based on what I believe their potenials will end up being. I'm probably wrong and this doesn't matter but you'll definetely get upset about it, which is fun. I'm really doing this so I can remember the tier list I made here.

Tiers are as follows:

LW - Special: This tier is really for the truely outstanding players. They have that "factor" that goes beyond just a franchise or elite player.

C - Elite/Franchise: The "excellent" category. Players in this tier are those that you build the team around.

RW - First Line/Pairing: The "great" category. Players that can play top minutes well, but you really wouldn't consider them for anything beyond that.

LD - Middle Six/Top 4: The "good" category.

RD - Bottom Six/Pairing: The "okay" category.

Scratch - Busts: Mainly a placeholder if I or anyone uses this for older drafts. These guys didn't make it.

For goaltenders, if they appear in "First Line", they are a starter. Anywhere lower than that is backup.

Just first round picks. Would need to make a "God Tier" for Nick Robertson otherwise.

I'd agree with McMichael, but Poulin isn't even the best guy in his current tier. Tomasino is the one who sticks out as too good for that grouping.

Both should be up a tier higher. Poulin projects as a top 6 guy. Definitely not bottom 6. Both of them have a higher ceiling than Foote

Pretty decent list I think.
I’m not super familiar with all the players but the ones I would change:

Knight would be in the elite tier.

Newhook and possibly McMichael should be up a tier.

Broberg I would probably drop down a tier.
